I have 2 apple id’s but only iCloud syncs to watch after erase

Recently erased my phone and watch, re set them up with my 2 id’s, one for iCloud and one for App Store purchases and Apple Music. It seems as my watch hasn’t does this aswell and only relies off my iCloud account. Which will then show I’m not subscribed to Apple Music on my watch yet all of my songs from my 2nd apple id show up on the watches library but it’s grayed out. The very few ones I own aren’t grayed out, but upon tapping just won’t play.

and this has worked before I erased, now it doesn’t.

Having two Apple IDs makes you look like two very different people. An Apple ID should be associated with exactly one person, and each person should have exactly one Apple ID. The exception is if a person needs to really look like two different people - one for business/professional use and the other for personal use.

The Apple ID you refer to as “one for iCloud” indeed does not subscribe to Apple Music. Only one Apple ID is associated with your Apple Watch.
