Voice Memos App Glitching

Hi there!

I use Voice Memos to write songs in my studio and it's a simple way to gather my thoughts about verses and chords. Lately it's been really having issues and I have plenty of space on my iPhone. When I typically record, I place my phone upside down because that puts the speaker and recorder in a position so it can hear what I am playing. Often times, the screen will go black while I record because I'm recording more than 30 seconds or whatever the screen darkening setting is. When I have used the app previously, when I'm done recording, it would show the lock screen but a continual recording going on. I would click the "stop" button from the lock screen and then I'd unlock my phone to get back in and listen to see if it recorded how I wanted. It always used to work fine. Now it's not letting me hit "stop" or "pause" from the locked screen and it's freezing if I try to open the app. I'll unlock the phone and then go to the app and it's frozen on the recording. The "done" is visible usually, but grayed out. So I can't save the recording. When it freezes I have little choice besides swiping the app closed and opening it again to see if it saved afterall. Around 90% of my recordings are not being saved now.

I'm so bummed because it's not letting me record and it's been my go-to app for recording and songwriting all this time. Taylor Swift even uses voice memo for recording ideas. If you can't fix it for me, let's all fix this issue for her!
