Home button on SE generation 3 2022

To me, pressing the home button on the SE 3 feels like I am depressing a lever inside the phone. Does anybody know how it’s constructed? I have the haptic at 1, the lowest. Still feel the lever.

I have already updated to the latest update, and have tried cleaning it by gently dabbing it with water on a q-tip. How to turn off ALL haptics, even for long press? How do you totally disable the haptic feedback including the click for long press, it’s so annoying! My phone is going to end up thrown against a wall soon if I can't turn off these irritating clicks. I read somewhere that its impossible to disable this, but when I first got my phone (16), a couple of weeks ago, it didn't do it. Arrrggghhh! Please help!

Hello,

The glass may bend slightly when you press on the Home Button since it is seperated from the display. Although it is all pressure based.
