Hi, For some reason I cannot move a music file from my Mac to my Ipod Touch.

I used to be able to manually transfer a music file (song) from my Mac to Ipod Touch manually, but now the file won't transfer. Can you help? Tom

Hi Jeff, I think one time when I tried syncing the Ipod to the music Library, songs were duplicated on the Ipod. It was a while ago, so not exactly sure. Anyway is there a way to manually delete a song on my Ipod Touch? It won't let me do it.

Hi Jeff,

I was able to manually move selected songs from my Mac's ( I have 3 Mac's and 3 Ipods) to my Ipods. I don't want to sync as all of the songs would be duplicated. Am I right?

Tom,

You can manually move the songs to your iPods or you can sync them. The sync process should recognize songs already on the device and not duplicate them.
