The file of my “own videos” suddenly disappeared in the Apple TV app on my IPad Pro… any idea why? And how I can restore my videos?

Hello Trinly,

We see you're missing some videos, and we'd like to help out. Are these videos ones that you had purchased from the iTunes Store? If so, this page can help provide some steps for re-downloading them: Redownload TV shows and movies that you purchased - Apple Support

1. Open the Apple TV app.
2. Tap the Library tab.
3. Tap the movie or show that you want to redownload. If you use Family Sharing, tap a family member’s name to see their purchases.
4. Tap the Download button.

If they were previously synced from elsewhere, it's possible they may need to be synced back again, but you can also try restarting the iPad to see if that helps.

Cheers.

Your synced videos would be listed under ‘Downloaded’ in the TV app. If you see no ‘Downloaded’ category listed under Library, then remove all synced files (through Mac/PC), then sync again for a refresh.

Your Home Shared videos would be listed under ‘Home Sharing’ in the TV app, when on the same home network as the sharing computer.

Your videos that were recorded on that iPad would be listed in the Photos app.

Incompatible files may not work at all. Prefer to use H.264/AAC or H.265/AAC media files in an MP4/MOV/M4V container.
