how to stop spontaneous voice recognition in blank message screen

When I finish writing a message and send it and still have "Messages" open, my phone records what I say. I don't want it to do that. My goodness, I might accidentally record something that I don't want recorded.

Somebody else asked this question more than year ago and the answer given was about things not being transcribed.

My issue is too much transcription.

iPhone starts recording a voice message when exiting a text message Very frequently when I click the < arrow to back out of a text message my iPhone launched the microphone and begins recording a voice message. It is very annoying and even sends the ... icon to the receiver like you are typing a message. Some things you will likely suggest are to restart the phone, update the software, etc. All have been done. This isn't only this phone, my wife's phone does it, my kids phones do it, my iPhone 11 Pro Max did it after an iOS update and my current 14 Pro Max does it. Seems like a huge security flaw and privacy lawsuit waiting to happen. Searching online plenty of people have the problem but Apple's responses have been the generic "restart your device" or "update software". I've been restarted many times, and am running the most current software. This ongoing problem with lack of recognition has me rethinking my 15 year relationship with Apple.

My iPhone records my voice and adds what I say in the reply text field. After I read a text, my iPhone 13 continues to record my voice and adds what I say in the reply text field. I am terrified that I am going to accidentally send that recorded text! I saw the answer to another person who had the same issue, but the reply actions to her were not consistent with what is on my phone. Help! [Re-Titled by Moderator]
