I got water in my earbuds, can they be fixed? Accidentally wore them in the pool for a few seconds, now there is bad static in the right one. Any way to repair the damage?

I bought them at Costco with no warranty, so it will cost me more to repair them than replace them. So I will wait until the new Apple Air Buds Pro II come out this year and buy those instead.
