Why does my phone hang up on people when they try to call me without going to voicemail?

iPhone 14 dropped calls and Voicemail issues on iOS 18 My iPhone 14 keeps dropping calls and even won’t let me make phone calls. Everything is up-to-date think on iOS 18 something. When people do call me half the time it goes straight to voicemail because I don’t even hear it ring. Yes, my volume is up and it is not on vibrate. I know some companies can direct it straight to voicemail but when your kid calls and wants to talk to you, it’ll go straight to voicemail. If I have an emergency or if somebody else has an emergency and can’t get a hold of me, I’m gonna be one.P*^^ed person. Anyone know why this keeps happening? Didn’t happen with iOS 17 [Re-Titled by Moderator]

VoiceMail (Visual or Normal) is a Carrier Specific feature. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
