My Mac keep telling me that I have to confirm my Apple-id-phone number every day, and often several times a day.
I click the message, and completes all the steps in the screen Apple-ID to confirm that I will keep my number. No errors.
In a few hours or the next day I get the same message to confirm my Apple-ID.
So - how do I get rid of this annoying reminder?

Try this:
Click https://appleid.apple.com
Then on Side bar click Personal Information -> then click Reachable at 'cloud icons'.
Add phone number -> click the Plus sign, then follow the onscreen instructions.

When you still get that message like this:
Click on Continue.
Enter your Apple ID password, then follow the on-screen instructions.

On the web page you linked to, there is no option to confirm, only add or remove. Can it really help to just log in and out?
In my case, I have a trusted phone number, but I am asked to confirm it, and I did so with success on my MacBook Pro M1 - but keeps getting reminder to confirm phone number over and over.
This is hopeless.
No one of those places have a confirm option for keeping my phone number. I have no more phone numbers to add, and I simply don't see the point of deleting and adding a phone number, just to confirm that I will keep my phone number.
Confirming the phone number in the Apple-ID screen on my MacBook used to work, but not any more.
I did a turn off and turn on again on the MacBook no, and then the reminder popped up again.
Same issue here. It's happening in both my mac and my iPad. Apple keeps on insisting on confirming the phone number many times per day no matter what I do. Really annoying.
That is what I did - followed the on-screen instructions.
