OS4 - radio apps not working properly?

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread, but I can't see this topic anywhere else.

I've got a 32GB iPod Touch (3rd Gen). Since installing iOS4 all my internet radio apps have stopped working properly, although other streaming apps (e.g. last.fm, YouTube) are fine.

The radio apps (ShoutCast, RadioBox, HiDef Radio, Tunein Radio) all show the same symptoms - they take a long time to connect, then keep breaking to rebuffer every few seconds. It varies between stations, but most break so often that they're unusable.

I can play the same radio stations from my PC with no problems, via the same wifi router and broadband connection, so it can't be the stations or my internet link. On the iPod, non-radio streaming apps, including jazz.fm (a dedicated app for a UK radio station) work perfectly, so it can't be a general wifi problem on the iPod.

It does seem to be just something that's affecting multi-station radio apps - but what? It's a shame, as I enjoy internet radio, and this has ruined the iPod for that purpose.
