MacBook Pro 14 M1 Pro external display black after wake from MacBook Pro sleep

External third-party Samsung display connected through USB to Display Port 1.4. Monitor works fine on MacBook Pro at boot up. But when the mac book goes to sleep, and when it comes out of sleep, the monitor is detected in display setting but the monitor screen remains black. The Mac seem to keep cycling through the monitor be detected and then disappearing within the display setting. The only way to get around this is to reboot the MacBook Pro.

And in addition a different model of Samsung using display port 1.4 is detected in display setting but remains black.

How can it be that through USB to Display port Apple MacBook Product is not working ?

This needs to be fixed and it not the monitors obviously as these monitors work perfectly on Windows PCs

In addition, I noticed that this happens when I have two external monitors connected, one through USB->DPORT and the other through direct HDMI. If I turnoff the HDMI display off and close the laptop display then the DPORT display come back on ok, Then open the laptop display and turn on the HDMI display, all three displays are back ok.

Don't have to go through this procedure on a Windows PC, so why is MacOS Monterey doing this ?
