Aux not connecting

Hello, since I updated my iPhone my six cord doesn’t connect. My husband has the same phone and is also updated but works with no issues. Could something be off in my settings ?! where should I check?

Aux won’t work When I plug in my iphone 14 in with the aux cord for my car my phone charges but it still plays music out loud instead of to the system. I tried another iphone and it worked. Why won’t my phone play music through the aux cord?
