Part of my friends iCloud space is a backup of his iPhone. His iPhone back-ups every day automatically. His iCloud space is almost full. That is why he wants to make his iPhone backup less big. So now he wants to know what is exactly in his iPhone backup in iCloud.

He can eliminate selected things from future backups by going to Settings > [username] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups > [device name] and wait for the list of apps to populate.
