Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
I recently had to reinstall my operating system after erasing my HD on my iMac. I would like to transfer my old music from my iPhone to my iMac, but the transfer process says it will erase my iPhone music and sync what I have on my iMac, which is nothing. Is there any way to go about this? Thanks.
Unfortunately, all syncing is from Mac to iPhone, not the other way around. You'll have to restore your Mac data using your Time Machine (or other) backup or download purchased items again from the iTunes Store.

It worked; I went to Finder/Time Machine/Date I wanted/Macintosh HD-Data/Users/name of user/Music/iTumes/iTumes media/unknown artist/unknown album…… there they all were. I simply dragged and dropped them into a folder. Easy as pie.
