Restore All Contacts

Open Contacts, then connect your Time Machine drive. Click the icon in the top bar, then "Enter Time Machine". It'll open a Time Machine dialog for Contacts. Simply click the top contact, then Shift + click the bottom to select all the cards. After that, you can click "Restore".

If you have synced your contacts with iCloud you can restore from there and the address book will be on TM at ~/library/application support/address book
