My iphone 112 is froze with the message showing: Allow this device to access photos and videos?

My iphone 12 is froze with the message showing:

Allow this device to access photos and videos?

This device will be able to access photos and videos while it is connected to your iphone

I connected it to my computer at work for just about 20 seconds then disconnected, this message displayed as soon as I connected and will not leave my screen no matter what I try. Any help with this will be great.

Thank you for the quick assistance. I was able to get it back on and working properly with steps very similar to the ones you advised. I quickly pressed and released the Volume UP button, same with the Volume DOWN button then, as you said, pressed and hoeld the side button until the apple appeared and phone booted (powered) up. Worked like a charm. Appreciate the help very much. Hope I can repay the favor someday. Have a good one!

Try pressing and holding the side button for 10 seconds to shut it down, then turn your phone back on. This should in freeze your screen.
