Watch Burn

Not sure if the figured out what causes your watch to burn you.

I did just get done washing my hands. I put my watch on loosely and my wrist was a tad wet but I was in a rush. I wear my watch with face on wrist.

next thing I know I felt a high heat took off watch and burn was left.

I love my watch please look into this

Thanks for quick reply fieryjack

I figured that would be the case just wasn’t sure if they had some type of recall or something?

I love my watch!! I hate to wear it if I keep getting burned. I have had this one for 2 yrs first incident. I have it on my other hand while my normal arm heals. If it does it again I guess I will find something else that won’t.

Bummer

Don't wear the watch and go see a doctor.

Apple says;

Quote from "Wearing your apple watch" support document;

A great deal of care and research goes into choosing materials for all of our devices. In addition to ensuring that all materials adhere to existing regulations, we developed our own specification for Apple Watch that goes beyond those requirements.In fact, every material that touches your skin has gone through extensive evaluation in accordance with our specification. This includes:

Thousands of material composition test

More than a thousand prototypes worn for trial studies

Thousands of toxicological assessments

Consultations with board-certified dermatologists

A small number of people will experience reactions to certain materials. This can be due to allergies, environmental factors, extended exposure to irritants like soap or sweat, and other causes.
