McAfee Firewall not working
Cannot enable Firewall in McAfee Total Protection 4.14.0 on Mac mini with OS Monterey 1.24 and Apple M1 chip. "Open using Rosetta" enabled under Info for both Total Protection app and McAfeeSystemExtensions app.

Uninstall McAfee. Third party apps that claim to protect, clean, manage, boost performance, etc. are not needed. They use system resources while providing no benefit. They often cause problems. The MacOS has a built-in firewall if you really need one.

If you are behind a router on your Network it has a built in Firewall.
Also your Mac has a built in Firewall, I would leave it off unless you are in town on a "Free wiffi Network," it can cause general issues blocking needed connections...

Block connections to your Mac with a firewall - Apple Support
I would not install "McAfee Total Protection" / McAfeeSystemExtensions app.
Look for an official in-app uninstaller— or if in doubt search the developers website or contact: Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility/Updates/Uninstaller
Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus
all known to cause issues on the macOS
Third party AntiVirus is not recommended— it typically does nothing but add issues to the macOS and competes directly with Apple’s own built in security:
macOS - Security - Apple macOS - Security - Apple
Apple Platform Security - Apple Apple Platform Security - Apple Support
Protecting against malware in macOS - Apple Support
Get rid of any and all Mcafee products you have installed. They are worse than worthless on a Mac.
