I am trying to airdrop a document from the scansnap app from an ipad air 5th generation to another but I am receiving the message that "....would like to share a file that requires an app from the app store." The scansnap app is installed on both ipad air 5th generation. Wi-fi and bluetooth are enabled on both devices. Does anyone know why I am receiving this message?
It's telling you it may need the app to open it, not that it needs the app to AirDrop it.
If it has a particular format created by this app, then it may need it. You can accept it, and Airdrop it anyway.
