Cannot access Control Center on my watch

I can no longer access Control Center or notifications on my watch. Swiping up or down does nothing. I did not change any settings. How do I restore the function?

I can no longer access Control Center on my Apple Watch Recently my watch no longer responds to the downward swipe. I no longer can access the screen that contains charge level, ping my phone, airplane/theater mode and other important features. How restore this function? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
