Screen stays down in Reachability mode

Hello!

I really enjoy the reachability mode (swipe down at the bottom of the screen), but am wondering if there is an option to keep the screen down halfway forever?

I am asking because I like the negative space the phone creates when the screen in locked in its halfway position. It shows the Home Screen photo blurred, which gives me a sense of distance in longing for the person in it.

At the moment I’d like for it to stay locked rather than returning into place after a couple seconds.

It is a really oddly specific request, so I understand if it doesn’t make much sense. I just have a nostalgia for blurred out memories.

There is no means presently available to do that.

Thank you for your feedback. I would love it to be an available feature, but it sounds like the only answer I will get to a request like this is a curt “no.” Appreciate the guidance.

Two details: Apple replies to feedback very rarely if ever, and Apple does read it; I’ve had feedback with quick fixes and updates in subsequent versions, and other of my feedback that has not. Apple has long had a focus on accessibility, and this is in that realm. Whether this suggest gets implemented, only Apple can and will decide. But only you can log it.
