Have a new email domain through 123-reg, set up the account on the iPhone as advised but the iPhone does not like the outgoing server. The email acct will receive emails but can’t send. Apparently it is a known issue with Apple and hoping to find a solution on how to fix please?

I’ve sorted it thanks. It was purely the fact that password had not be chosen as part of the outgoing server settings.
It is not a known issue with Apple, but it may be a known issue with your provider. Have you checked your provider’s help pages specifically for outgoing mail server settings?
