My iPhone battery went below 79%.

Hello, I am writing from Turkey. My battery went below 79%. I took it to the service and they told me that they cannot replace my battery free of charge under warranty because I exceeded 500 battery cycles. I do not accept these 500 battery cycles, it is ridiculous that you put a condition on my warranty that does not end in this way. Please help.

Apple does not have a limit at 500 cycles; Apple just goes by the condition of the battery. If it falls below 80% and the phone is still within the warranty period Apple will replace it free. If it is out of warranty Apple will charge a fee to replace the battery. The fee is pretty reasonable, and they probably lose money on it.

Yes, I went to Zorlu Center Apple store in Istanbul today to the service. They checked the phone and said that they could not replace the battery free of charge because there were 871 battery cycles. They said that they can change for free under 500 battery cycles, and they cannot change the cycle above that. In addition, there is no Apple Care+ service in our country. There is only America. When I bought my device, I was given a 2-year warranty.
