I was trying to install macOS Monterey and it told me to select the disk I want to use to install Monterey but it says “You may not install to this volume because your home directory is in an incompatible location. Please log in to another user to change its location”.

I read it so it said I need a USB flash drive with at least 14 GB but my computer has like 60 GB it’s just I don’t think it has anything to do with storage because Monterey needs around 20 GB to install
I’m not some kind of computer expert so best to my knowledge it says that my home directory is in an incompatible location so I’ve been going through the internet and the best thing I came to is backing up my computer or changing my network location or something like that
I have another question if I switch Apple ID will it clear my storage from my originally used Apple ID?
