No column for flag in Mac mail in Monterey

Repeating someone else's problem. Monterey doesn't seem to permit inserting a column in Mac mail that displays emails that are flagged. It can sort by flags, but you can't see them in the mail display.

Control/Right click in the header area and choose Flags.

Trying to flag an email in Monterey With earlier Mac operating systems when you would flag an email it would show up on your list of emails. This seems to be removed in Monterey. Having a flag in the header of the email is useless. Is there some way to have the Flag show in the email list so they can be easily located? Can't display all mail flags in Monterey Is there any way to customize the column view in Mail like in previous OS versions? Specifically, I'd like to permanently view all flags as a column. Monterey seems to have eliminated that functionality and only offers filtering by flag. It seems to me this removes most of the utility of color-coded flags. What's the point if the only way I can see important emails is if I know about and search for them?? If anyone knows of a way to display a "flagged" column, I'd love to restore this functionality.

Flagged messages not showing in inbox I am using Monterey 12.2.1 In the past when displaying all my messages, there used to be a flag next to the flagged messages. That no longer appears and the only way to see the flagged messages is to go to the side bar and click on the flagged message tab. I am not interested in always doing that and scanning through the messages. I really found it helpful to have a flag next to my message ij the inbox viewer screen. Any ideas? Whatever has been written before has not worked.
