How to Disable Camera on Lock Screen

iPhone 12 Mini, iOS 15.5.

The subject is the question, and this is directed towards Apple.

  • The workarounds found on Youtube, etc. are less than ideal (disabling it all together and having to enable it again every time you do want to take a photo are lousy solutions).

Does Apple have any intention or plan to allow users to disable this?

  • It wastes memory with photos taken of the inside of my pocket.
  • It would allow anyone to fill the memory of an iPhone without unlocking it.

If Apple does not intend or plan to address this, please Apple, tell us why not. Maybe you have a good reason.

If you'd like, submit your request/comment to Apple directly, using this link:--> Apple – Product Feedback

We, just users like you, are not aware of Apple future plans/decisions, sorry.

Thanks and regards
