I too got this notice overnight. Basically it’s a popup from the phone (not a text) asking to allow access on “iPhone”. I woke up to that notification, a text with a reset code, and an email from apple (verified) with a reset code.


someone was attempting to start the account recovery process.


it seems to be a growing problem. There’s a recent Reddit thread and a friend had the exact same thing happen to her a few days ago.
