Help with my MacBook!!!!!

I turned on my MacBook & it just prompts me to macOS utilities. This has never happened before nor do I know why my computer is doing this.

I didn’t click on anything prior to using my MacBook. I just turned it on & this screen won’t go away

what can I do to fix this?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

You do not say what exact Mac (?)

what exact macOS (?)

From your utilities— run the First Aid

Boot into Internet Recovery (Option Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities>  Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD (and the "Macintosh HD-Data" volume as well if Catalina/Big Sur/Monterey) If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.

Disk Utility>View>Show All Devices The best sequence is —

Volume level

Container level

Parent drive

i’m running first aid but this is what it’s telling me.

Base System is your Recovery Volume this is not your issue.

I can see you have tried to re-install or some such more than once here...

You have ghost Data volumes.

Non the less you have an issue with your drive or your borked re-install...

You can erase/reformat/initialize the parent drive as new, install the macOS, then restore your user data from backup, and see if this sorts your issue.

Disk Utility you need to View>Show All Devices to get the full picture and see the parent drive at the top of the list

This can be done from Recovery
