I got a new iPhone and my photos are gone. How do I get them back?

How did you transfer your data from the old to the new iPhone?

Were your photos stored on your iPhone only, or did you sync them using iCloud Photos?

Do you still have your old device?

Do you have a backup of your "old" phone?

Is the "new" phone using the same Apple ID and Password as your "old" phone?
