Hey mariar01,

Sounds like your iPhone battery isn't lasting as long as you're expecting it to. We can help with that.

First and foremost, iPhone's contain lithium ion batteries that are consumable parts that chemically degrade over time. If your iPhone battery's max capacity is at 80% or less, you'll want to replace the battery as it's considered consumed at that point. To check this, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

Even if your max capacity is over 80%, if you see a message here indicating that your iPhone was unable to deliver peak performance, you'd also want to look into replacing your battery.

With all that said, if your battery is still in good health and there's no important battery message provided here, go to Settings > Battery to look at the battery usage and determine what app or apps are consuming the majority of your battery life. You can use this information to better understand whether what you're noticing is expected or if there's an opportunity to perhaps use a particular app less to save on battery life or determine if it's running in the background without your knowledge and eating into your battery that way.

We hope this helps out.
