Can i restore a backup from the same ios but a different version?

So for personal reasons i wanted to downgrade my iphone to ios 15.4 right now i have ios 15.6, will i be able to restore the backup from the 15.6 version?

Hi fool_whoyou,

actually is not possible to downgrade your iPhone to iOS 15.4 but also you won't be able to restore a backup from a next versione.

You can restore a iOS 15.4 backup to iOS 15.6 but not the opposite.
