I can't sign into iMessage or FaceTime on my iMac. Worked for several months and just stopped. Followed directions on the support page and it didn't resolve the issue.

I can't sign into iMessage or FaceTime on my iMac. Worked for several months and just stopped. Followed directions on the support page and it didn't resolve the issue. Also, reset my AppleID password and that didn't help either.


iMac 24″, macOS 12.4

When all else fails, consider reinstalling the OS: How to reinstall macOS - Apple Support

The "Reinstall" part. Data, apps and settings will not be disturbed.
