Why is it that only one app on my old iPhone and my brand new 13 pro max starts the processor heating immediately after opening the app, to the point of the screen darkening and the phone starting to act like it’s locking up? Only one app does this. Fox News. What’s up? Is apple messing with coding here? Anyone notice this?
News apps don’t add much value compared to simply browsing from Safari.
Think about it for a moment.
Safari has built-in privacy 🔒 protections that apps can simply bypass.
It seems that you have discovered that from your experience.
My suggestion is to simply bookmark any website instead of downloading apps.
No popups, no tracking and simply a much better experience.
