I’m wondering if it’s normal for my phone to lose or delete automatic sign in information after a required update?
After the last update some of my previously entered information has disappeared from my password folder.

Are you saying this is an ongoing issue— or abated once you sign in?
Settings>Passwords>Autofill> ON

If iCloud Keychain won't turn on or sync - Apple Support
