Logitech C615 HD Camera kinda ***** or its missing drivers or something?

I got a C615 camera and despite being 1080p camera, the image kinda *****... compared to the FaceTime HD of my MacBook, its vastly inferior...

Because of a window behind me, my face is basically black, the window is bright white and no one sees anything... it looks like one of those "whistleblower" videos hehehehe

This image here is completely fabricated... that woman's face is supposed to be pitch black, and the door completely blown out!

Meanwhile, using native FaceTime HD, you can clearly see my face, clearly see what's out the window... like magic!

is there anything I can do improve this?

You have to consider lighting effects. If you shoot directly into a bright light, you either wash out completely or you have the effect you're getting. That photographer's solution is to manipulate light sources with reflectors, diffusers and such.

I suggest you hang curtains over the Window. You can get them for totally blocking to only slightly dimming in light control.

Or move your setup so you have an unlighted wall behind you. There are portable devices you can but that raise and lower a large blank sheet of various colors or scenes. Places like B&H Photography have them.
