Text messages aren’t syncing

Someone tried to hack my Apple account. So I changed my password twice. Now text messages between my iPad (Gen6) and iPhone (12 ProMax) aren’t syncing. I’ve rebooted both. Any suggestions?

Blocking iPhone when synced with iPad If the iPhone and iPad are synced, and messages have been coming/going to both, then someone blocks my iPhone number and I text back, does the iPad deliver the message?

After changing the password, did you sign out, and then back in on both devices?
