Photos on Camera Roll are spliced or partially blacked out.

Photos taken on my iPhone have recently shown up as either spliced together with other photos or partially blacked out. When I took the photos they were normal looking and since then have decided to breed together and create some sort of freakish offspring.

any insight or even confirmation that i'm not alone with this odd problem would be appreciated.
