My MacBook Air has been crashing repeatedly since last 5 days. Could you suggest why is is happening, and any solution to stop the crashing from happening again?

Try to boot in Safe Mode then normal boot could solve your issue.
Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support
If it doesn't help, try to run Apple Diagnostics if your issue is caused by hardware related problem.

Hi Kaz-k, I started in Safe mode and then, restarted in Normal mode. Today is 2nd day of doing so. So far no problem Thanks for the helpful advice. Shall update after a week about status.
