Purple flickering box behind Ipad display using Sidecar

I am using a 2nd gen iPad Pro 9 inch running the latest ios and a 2017 MacBook Pro 13 inch running the latest Mac OS. While using the ipad to mirror the Mac display using sidecar both over Wi-Fi and on a USB cable, I get a flickering purple box behind the displayed item on my ipad. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.4

Hi Bnsam,

Is this happening with whatever app or screen you are seeing on your iPad Pro when using Sidecar or a specific app? This can help show if the issue is happening with any app or a specific app.

If you notice this only happening with one specific app, you can ensure that it is updated to possibly stop this issue: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support

Also, if you haven't already, you could see if restarting both your iPad Pro and MacBook Pro might help. Restarting can seem like a simple step, but it can help refresh the data/software on devices, which could help resolve unexpected issues.

Let us know if those steps help or if you've already tried those.

Take care.
