In Music under Monterey, the "iTunes store" button is not there anymore.
Denis,
You have to enable it in Music Preferences, General tab, "Show -- iTunes Store."

What are the alternatives? Sell my Mac and buy a Window computer to run iTunes? or Download a non-Apple song player?
If you don't like the iTunes Store, you can buy the MP3s from Amazon and add them to your Music library. It will not require a new player or a new computer.
If you already have an Apple Music subscription, you do not need to “buy” an album. Just click “Add to Library” and you’re set!

Thankx, ed2345, but...
I am running Music 1.2.4.3 under Monterey 12.4.
I DID checked the "Show iTunes Store" in Preferences.
But the iTunes store does NOT

show on the screen.

Denis,
The screenshot you show is the iTunes Store.
Scroll down and you will see more choices.
Or you can search for stuff using the search bar.
I do not have a Music subscription and cannot afford to buy one.
All I want to do is purchase ONE album to add to my present iTunes library.
I do not intend to "merge" my personal iTunes library with the Apple Music library.

OK, thanks again, ed2345,
Actually, my workaround is to buy the music album with a version of iTunes running under on my old MBA still running High Sierra. I was then able to synchronise my new playlist to my iPhone.
I did not have to buy another computer, but I am lucky I still had my old MBA.
Dear ed2345,
Yeah, you are right.
The confusion on my behalf comes from me not seing any prices associated with the albums on the screenshot. True, I did not scroll down far enough. Also, there is no "search" bar within the new iTunes page, you have to type in your request in the search bar on the left pane .
Ounce you select the search bar on the left, an empty page appears but show the iTunes store.
Typing in a request will lead you to the album you want to buy.
So, no need for me to get a Windows machine.
Thanks again for your patience.
Denis - Glad it worked out. Enjoy the musique!
