Disk Utility Format to Raid 1 Issue

I have a G-Raid with Thunderbolt Drive that has been formatted to Rail 0. I would like to format it to Raid 1. I can get to screen where I select the drive but the NEXT button is greyed out. I've done this before a few years ago as you can see from the screen shot. Now out of 20 tries, I did get the next button once and got to next screen but backed out and not can get the NEXT button to show after another 20 tries.

Unless the G RAID drive allows the internal disks to be displayed as JBOD, then you will need to use the WD proprietary software to manage the hardware RAID of the enclosure. Software RAID requires each individual physical drive within the enclosure to be exposed which means configuring the enclosure's hardware RAID for JBOD.
