Dolby Atmos Music Apple TV 4K

Perplexed as to why some tracks/albums list Dolby Atmos capability but they don't play back in Dolby Atmos (Pink Floyd, The Black Keys, etc.). I've tried other, random, Dolby Atmos tracks under the "spatial audio playlist" on Apple Music and they play fine in Atmos.

I'm playing them through an Apple TV 4K 2nd Gen connected to Dennon AVR 4500h in a 5.2.4 setup. All other Atmos content works as expected on the Apple TV for movies, Netflix, Disney+, etc. The Dennon reciever display will change the audio playback format to reflect "Atmos" is being played vs multi channel or Aura 3D.

Any thoughts? And yes, I confirmed they say "Atmos" and not "Audio".

Similar issue but not identical here. I do not have a Dolby Atmos playback set up, just multi channel Denon system. However I too have noticed lately that some albums which indicate Dolby Atmos play in 5.1 multi channel (Beatles, Doors, George Michael), while others do not (Chicago, Bryan Ferry, Diana Krall, Elton John).

Since Apple has not announced any 5.1 multi channel playback capabilities in Apple Music, I guess it’s hard to get too worked up about it, but it does make one wonder what’s going on. Perhaps 5.1 capability is a slow rollout and the labels get ahead of the actual content?
