Photos in iMessage didn’t transfer to new iPhone 13

I tried the Apple support option of going into message preferences and syncing but the syncing option is greyed out.

is there another fix?

New Iphone didn't transfer message photos I just transferred over to the Iphone 14 pro and when I am in my messages it is not showing any of my pictures that have been sent in the past. I have clicked on the contact photo in messages and scrolled down but there is not even a photos section because it is not showing any of them. I can scroll through my messages and find the photo but it isn't grouping them altogether and it is making it difficult to find my photos. How can I get my photos for all my messages to show back up for each contact?

message attachments not showing up i just transferred from an iphone 12 pro to an iphone 15. i noticed none of my message attachments were saved. if i scroll back in the conversations, the pictures are still there. but if i click on the contact’s name and scroll down to see all the pictures in the thread, nothing shows up. what should i do?

Probably you are using another Apple ID or your Messages were not enabled on iCloud.

No to both. Each day I look more have shown up but they are not in chronological order.
