When i try to add money into my account the buttons are grey and I can’t click them. I am on a family sharing plan and I’m pretty sure that’s affecting it but we don’t know how to resolve it

My child had the same problem. I am the organizer of our family sharing plan. When my children got their phones/devices I set up the "Ask to Buy" feature on their accounts so that my spouse and I could review and approve their purchases. The fix that allowed my child to add funds to their account was me temporarily turning off "Ask to Buy" feature. Once I did that the greyed out fund amounts became accessible. I hope that helps.

Buy/redeem Apple Gift cards to the account. Charges will be deducted from the account balance before the organizer's credit card is charged.
