On some websites (CNN.com is an example) ads in the margins often have video that plays automatically. It is very distracting. How do I turn them off? I have blocked pop-ups for CNN.com but these ads with video still automatically play.

Hi iggypup2022,

There is an option found in the Safari settings you can select for Never Auto-Play that should stop the videos.

Stop autoplay videos in Safari on Mac - Apple Support has the steps you will want to follow.

After following those steps, it should resolve the issue for you. If not, reach back out to us.

Have a great day!
