Magic Keyboard flashing and IPad not charging

Has anyone else faced this problem? I have an IPad Pro (2020) and a magic keyboard that accompanies it (released around the same time i believe) and whenever i try to charge my ipad using the connection where you plug in your chord to the actual keyboard instead of the iPad, my keyboard backlight starts flashing and my iPad does not charge at all. I have no idea why this is happening.

Hi Maringie,

We understand you have a charging issue when your keyboard is connected to your iPad. Are you using an Apple branded keyboard with the iPad? Is the keyboard connected via Bluetooth? Does your iPad charge as expected when the keyboard is not connected?
