Apple ID locked

If I Factory Reset my iPhone 8 after locking up my iCloud, how do I get back into the phone? I try to set it up and it needs my Apple ID and password but when I type it in it says my account is locked due to security reasons, I have no backup code and I tried that to many times to give me that option anymore. I really just want this phone to be completely reset and work or be able to unlock my Apple ID to use my Apple ID again .

Contact Apple Support, from here:

You can't wipe the iPhone, being locked out. And if you no longer have the account that it was locked to, then you are locked out for good. So, I recommend contact Apple Support, seeing if they can give you and options. If they can't help you, they you're locked out for good. Two-Factory Authentication and Passcode are theft deterrents. So, if you get a new iPhone, then keep the original packaging and original receipt. That way, you can have something to prove this is your device.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through.

Troubleshooting a Locked iPhone:

The iPhone is locked. So, get this serviced.

Hold it Right There!

Being Locked Out...

Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.

No Success?

Perform a Chat Session:

These are just user-to-user forums. To get call directly from Apple, chat with Apple, requesting that you set one up. Or, just chat with them if a call is not an option.

  1. Go to: support.apple.com
  2. Scroll Down to "Tell us how we can help"
  3. Select: Get Support
  4. Keep: selecting items until you get option to set up a call.

This would be very helpful, but that’s not exactly what I was asking for. I factory reset my other iPhone, after locking up my iCloud, I wasn’t locked out of the phone I was locked out if the iCloud, for “security reasons” but when I factory reset it, it asked for my Apple if and password, then said it was locked up, so that’s not very helpful, anyways, I pressed the blue words under about using the code, funny I didn’t set it up nor have the two factor security code so I guessed it wrong to many times as well. There or for I’m unable to use my iCloud or the two factor security code. I either need my account unlocked or figure out a way to completely wipe the data from the phone.

"iPhone: Thank you!! I’ll see and if not I’ll bring it to AT&T tomorrow and see what they might can do to make it work again, I’ve watched several videos and attempted a lot of different things but just can’t get it. I appreciate your help though!! Have a good night!"

Your device’s IP address is assigned by your carrier when you are using cellular data, and by your ISP when you are connected to Wi-Fi. And it will change periodically. Each time you connect to a different Wi-Fi network your phone will get a different IP address, and as you move from one area to another using a cellular connection your IP address will change.

You have no way to control your assigned IP address.
