Found differences bewteen two Iphone 13 pro max

I have a friend who recently purchased an Iphone 13 pro max, same model, same capacity, etc BUT we found out after handling each phone that he's is ligther (measured with a scale) and a little bit thinner

Have anyone noticed this before and knows about this? the weight difference is a lot and he tells me my phone have better performance overall
