I had forgotten my passcode and locked my ipad. It now says IPad Unavailable. My daughter has told me the password. Now I cannot get it unlocked

my ipad currently says ipad unavailable. The passcode was entered incorrect several times and I am thinking the ipad is now locked. How do I get it our of this mode. My mother was using the wrong code.
