my maxpro 13 will not activate iMessage. I can’t receive or send out texts or calls

I can send/receive calls or texts on my new 13 pro max. I’ve done everything apple support suggests

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
